Why is the MARS-17 Clinical Trial being done?

The MARS-17 clinical trial is testing an investigational drug called GSK3858279 (the “study drug”), in people living with osteoarthritis (OA) knee pain. What is learned in this trial may help people with OA knee pain in the future. The study drug or placebo, study visits, and study assessments will be provided at no cost to you.

You may be eligible to participate in this trial if you:

  • Are 40 to 80 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with OA
  • Have had OA symptoms in one or both knees for at least 6 months
