Summary:
You are being asked to participate in this research study because you have erosive esophagitis (EE), which is irritation or inflammation of the walls of the esophagus (the tube that leads from the back of the mouth to the stomach). EE is often caused by heartburn and regurgitation, which is when fluid that contains acid flows from the stomach to the esophagus.
The purpose of this study is to learn about the effects and safety of a study drug, tegoprazan, when it is compared to lansoprazole.
Criteria:- 18 and above
- Have experienced both heartburn (burning sensation, pain at posterior bony thorax) and regurgitation (sourness in mouth, uncomfortable movement of something from stomach through esophagus) for at least 2 days if one of the symptoms is mild, or for at least 1 day for moderate to severe, within 7 days prior to the Screening Visit,

You will be paid for the visits you complete according to the following schedule: $80.00 per completed visit.
