Summary:

Northern California Research is conducting a study for women who are experiencing an overactive bladder. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of several doses of the study medication Solabegron in women who have symptoms of an overactive bladder. The study is 4 months long and includes 7 office visits. You will be randomly assigned by chance (like rolling a dice) into 1 out of 3 different study medication groups. This is a double-blind study, meaning neither you nor the study doctor will know which medication group you will be placed into. All trial-related visits, tests, and medications will be provided to you at no cost.

Symptoms of OAB include:

  • Sudden urge to urinate - with or without ability to hold urine in the bladder

  • Urinate many times throughout the day and night


Qualified Participants Must:

• Woman, ages 18-80
• Voids 8x per day, episode of urinary incontinence


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Up to $385 for time and travel
