You May Qualify for a Clinical Research Study for COPD
Do you suffer from COPD? Consider volunteering in a clinical research study!
ABOUT THE STUDY
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, effectiveness and tolerability of an investigational inhaled COPD medication. Qualified volunteers may receive compensation for each completed study visit.
YOU MAY QUALIFY IF YOU:
- Are 40 years old or older
- Are a current or former smoker with a 10 year history of 1 pack per day
- Regularly use COPD therapy for at least the last 2 months
- Do not have a diagnosis of asthma
- Do not require long term oxygen therapy (12+ hours per day)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Total commitment is 10 weeks with 5 clinic visits (2 office visits will last approximately 12 hours)
- Routine blood tests and ECG tests
- Breathing tests to measure lung function at each visit
- Receive study medication at visits 2 and 3
- Daily diary entries at home using a touch screen device
