Summary:
Whole Biome has developed a new, all natural, medical food (Pill) which supplies your body with good gut bugs intended to restore your ability to digest fibers. Your participation in this study will help show whether this restoration results in improved metabolic health (Increased Insulin secretion and glucose tolerance.
Criteria:
- Men and women age 18-75 years
- Have type 2 diabetes treated with diet and exercise alone
- Or have Type 2 Diabetes treated with only Metformin
- A1c needs to be between 7% - 10.5%
- Office visits will be ONLY on TUESDAYS or WEDNESDAYS
- Willing to collect stool sample 4 different times.
- Willing to take medication during the program
