Genetics Can Play an Important Part in the Development of Juvenile Diabetes


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 10 to 17 years of age
• Be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes (with A1C between 6.5 - 10%) OR have diabetes risk factors such as obesity and family history of diabetes
• Either have not taken oral diabetes medication in the past 12 weeks OR currently taking metformin therapy


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Investigational medication, laboratory work, and evaluations at no charge
Compensation of $1,050 for time and travel costs
