Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) is a common but often ‘silent’ condition that results in liver inflammation and damage due to a build up of fat in the liver. Although similar to alcoholic liver disease, it is not caused by drinking too much alcohol.

Most people with NASH feel well and are not aware that they have a liver problem. If left unchecked, NASH can worsen, causing permanent liver damage and scarring.

There are currently no medicines available to treat patients with NASH.

The main purpose of each study is to investigate whether the study drug used is safe and effective in treating patients with NASH.

Qualified Participants Must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have been diagnosed by their doctor with NASH (proven with a biopsy)
• Have elevated liver enzymes
• Have no recent history or alcohol or drug abuse, or high consumption of alcohol

Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Study related medication, laboritory work, and evaluations at no charge
  • Compensation for time and travel costs
