Summary:

In the United States, there are 204 Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)-related emergency room (ER) visits, 33 TBI-related hospitalizations, and 6 TBI-related deaths every hour.

If you or someone you care for has experienced TBI, please consider volunteering for a 16-week study of an investigational medication designed to reduce aggression, agitation and irritability in patients with TBI. 


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be 18 to 70 years of age
• Have developed TBI more than nine months ago from an injury produced by external physical force
• Have a history of TBI-related aggression, agitation and irritability


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Eligible participants will receive study-related care, monitoring and study medication or placebo. Reimbursement for time and travel may be available to patients who qualify.  All studies administered by a board certified physician.
