Summary:

The RESET Study is investigating a medication to see if it couldprevent relapse in major depression.

If you are eligible for the study you will receive an FDA-approved medication for depression for up to 16 weeks. If you continue to qualify, you may be able to join the next part of the study. This part will last for 32 weeks and will compare the study medication with a placebo (something that looks the same but contains no actual medication) to see if it can prevent future episodes of depression. Throughout the study, you will be carefully monitored by a study team of experienced doctors and nurses.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between the ages of 18 and 75
• Have been diagnosed with major depression that is considered moderate to severe
• Have current depression that has lasted 2-18 months
• Have experienced at least two previous episodes of depression


Qualified Participants May Receive:

Compensation for travel; Study medication is at no cost to participant. No insurance is required.
