Summary:

A Randomized, Double-Blind, Parallel Group, Multi-Center Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of PT009 compared to PT005 on COPD Exacerbations over a 52- week Treatment Period in Subjects with Moderate to Very Severe COPD.


Qualified Participants Must:

• Be between 40 and 80 years of age
• Be diagnosed with COPD
• Be a current or former cigarette smoker with at least a 10 pack per year smoking history
• Be on active COPD Maintenance Inhaler
• Have a history of 1 COPD exacerbation within the past 12 months (Your COPD symptoms became worse)


Qualified Participants May Receive:

There is no cost to participate in the study and health insurance is not needed. Participants will receive free study related doctor visits which include Physical Exams, Lab, chest xray, study medication and compensation for time and travel.
