Glenn Michael Dempsey, M.D., our Principal Investigator, and Geraldine O. Dempsey, B.S.N., founded Albuquerque Neuroscience over 30 years ago to perform clinical trials of psychiatric medications.
Paula J. Lane, M.D. has served as an Investigator on more than 150 clinical trials in the areas of obesity, diabetes, cardiology and hypertension, constipation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other chronic pain conditions.
Diane K. Combs, M.D. is a board certified family physician and fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has over 30 years of private experience as well as the research experience with Albuquerque Neuroscience Inc.
Albuquerque Neuroscience has successfully contributed to the development of many medications for psychiatric illnesses. These medications have made significant improvements to the quality of life of individuals with mental illness.

Our highly trained research staff includes board-certified physicians, registered nurses, certified clinical research coordinators , and recruitment and administrative specialists. As part of the research process, we train and certify on Good Clinical Practices, psychometrics, structured diagnostic instruments, phlebotomy, ECG collection and the use of various electronic data collection platforms. We work with local compounding pharmacies, imaging centers and medical specialists as needed. Our studies are also overseen by Institutional Review Boards (IRB’s) to assure that the rights and safety of research participants’ are protected.
