Research Site Description:
Studies will be conducted at the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) inpatient unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) located on the tenth floor Wings C and D at 22 South Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, University of Maryland in Baltimore (UMB). Outpatient facility on 10 South, D Wing includes: three outpatient exam rooms, large outpatient treatment area, five comfortable recliners with privacy curtains, five phlebotomy chairs and a nursing station with computer workstation. The flexible Inpatient/Outpatient facility on 10 South, C Wing includes: six patient rooms, interview/phlebotomy/vaccination/infusion rooms, procedure room, 24 hour nursing care, kitchen/activities lounge, nursing station with computer workstation, specimen processing lab and countertop refrigerated centrifuge.
