    Cenexel CNS was established in 1999 with the goal of creating a better system and experience for conducting clinical trials for both patients and Sponsors. After starting in Garden Grove, CNS has expanded to add additional locations in Long Beach and Torrance, and in 2022 CNS joined the Cenexel group and has expanded access to 19 additional sites across the country. While CNS has grown over the years, we still keep to our roots and try to give the best experience possible for all our patients throughout every step of a study, from free transportation to study visits, to dedicated staff for participant outreach and retention.

    Cenexel CNS is the largest clinical research site on the West Coast with over 100 active studies for a variety of Neurological and psychiatric indications. With an extensive staff of Doctor's, coordinators, outreach staff, and premium facilities we have the tools and expertise to handle any challenge. Our facilities include a 50+ bed/25,000 sq.ft.  inpatient unit, a fully equipped and staffed pharmacy and Lab. Our Phase 1 facilities are a step above the competition with individual and/or shared private rooms with no bunk beds, comfortable amenities, and top-tier catering and food options.     CNS serves the greater Southern California area from Los Angeles to San Bernadino to Orange County, an area with a population upwards of 18 million people. CNS's primary focus includes Schizophrenia, Depression, Bipolar, Migraines, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Asian bridging, Healthy/Phase 1, and many more indications.

    Our recruitment and operations departments are among the most advanced in the country, from dedicated Japanese and Chinese staff for Asian bridging studies to automated texting and patient reminders. We are active in the community and support local programs to benefit Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and mental health research.
