The doctors are supported by a team of study coordinators, a budget and regulatory manager and a dedicated clinical trials recruiter. An electrophysiologist with more than 20 years experience in neuropathy studies is also available as needed.     Our doctors are committed to the research protocols full-time. They are directly involved performing study visits and are supported by a team of coordinators, a budget and regulatory manager and a dedicated patient recruiter.

    • Clinical Trial Investigators has the abilities and experience to perform non-overnight phase 1 and phase 2-4 studies in its office (no satellite site)
    • Access to a searchable electronic patient database of more than 4000 patients
    • Recruitment through database, television adverts, internet ads, radio ads, newspaper ads, flyers, referrals, patient outreach letters.
    • The team handles approximately 4-5 clinical trials concurrently (i.e. 2-3 studies/coordinator)
    • Coordinators are fully trained to GCP and CFR regulations, phlebotomy and lab certified
    • Patients are seen by both Investigators and Coordinator at each visit
    • Principal Investigator and coordinators are available at all CRA visits
    • Clinical Trial Investigators works with any central IRB, no restriction
    • Regulatory/budget paperwork turnover in less than 1 week

    Clinical Trial Investigators is looking for patients within a 120 mile radius of our location in Tustin, Orange County (92780).

    Patients must be over the age of 18.

    Employees At This Clinic:

    Dr. Selam received his undergraduate education and medical doctorate in France, University of Montpellier. He is a specialist in internal medicine and endocrinology in France since 1979 and is licensed in California since 1987. He has worked as an associate professor at University of California Irvine Diabetes Research Program 1986-90 then as an associate professor at University Medical School of Paris, dept of Diabetology 1990-2003. He has been appointed in 2005 as Visiting Professor by the USC School of Medicine, Los Angeles. Dr. Selam is the Sub Investigator at Clinical Trial Investigators with an experience of more than 200 studies, the majority in the fields of insulin, oral medications, neuropathy and obesity.
    Dr Selam is the author of 116 peer-reviewed publications, 128 invited articles or chapters in books, and 354 conference presentations, the majority in the field of new techniques of insulin therapy including intensive insulin and implantable insulin pumps, which he is considered as a world leader. He also has performed pioneer work on intraperitoneal insulin and insulin-induced remissions. He is the Editor in Chief of the Journals Infusystems, which he founded in 1983, a world leading journal in the field of insulin delivery systems. Dr Selam has maintained direct clinical responsibility of diabetic patients in France as well as in his current position in the US.
