Our Staff:
Our research staff has over 30 years of research experience. Our investigatorsare board certified and specialize in the fields of Internal medicine, pediatrics, gastroenterology, pulmonology, psychiatry (adult and pediatric), neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, and chiropractic. Our coordinators are also ACRP certified. Both, research staff and investigators are GCP trained and conduct clinical research in compliance with FDA and ICH guidelines.
Our Facilities:
Our site is located on the ground floor of a secured office facility that offers patients ample parking. Patients are cordially greeted and are afforded a comfortable and relaxing waiting room area. Bathrooms and kitchenette are also available for staff and patient use.
The site has designated office areas for administration,coordinators, regulatory and CRA/Monitors with access to high speed internet connection, telephones, printers and copiers as well as a document scanner and facsimile.
The site also has laboratory with phlebotomy processing and a secured on-site drug storage area.We have private and quite examination roomsthat are also used for consents and patient meetings.
Our site utilizes local laboratories that offer flexible pick-up hours and has an agreement with a mobile diagnostic company that provides on-site diagnostic services. The site can extenditshours of operation to include a 7 day schedulein order to accommodate specific study requirements.
The site utilizes a database containing more than 8,000 subject entries and also has access to each multi-specialty physician’s private practice database.
Phase I studies are conducted via formal agreement with 2 local area hospitals. Satellite specialty sites include Women Health and Cardiology.
Equipment:
The site has various medical equipment that include digital and mercurial BP device, 12 lead ECG machine, height and weight scales, pulse oximeter, otoscope, refrigerated centrifuge, regular centrifuge, -20 and -70 freezer, drug refrigerator, Min/Max/Actual thermometers access to dry-ice and a drug storage room temperature data logger.The site also has an emergency back-up generator and cooling system in place.All medical equipmentare calibrated annually.
