Now Enrolling Participants for an Investigational Meningitis Vaccine Clinical Study
Researchers in Milan, TN are seeking participants between the ages of 10 and 25 for a clinical research study testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational vaccine to help prevent meningitis types A, B, C, W, and Y.
You or a loved one may qualify for participation if you:
- Are a male or female between 10-25 years old
You or a loved one may not qualify for participation if you have:
- A current or previously confirmed disease caused by meningitis
- Had contact with someone carrying meningitis within the last 2 months
- Any medical condition that disallows blood draws or vaccination intake
- A history of hypersensitivity to vaccines or allergies to vaccines
- Abnormal functions or modifications to the immune system resulting from autoimmune disorders
- A history of chronic alcohol or drug abuse as determined by the study doctor
- Received a meningitis vaccine within the past 4 years
There are additional requirements to qualify for this study. A member of the study team will discuss these with you during screening.
