Summary:
A study to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational medication in type 2 diabetics who have had cardiovascular events including, but not limited to heart attack, stroke, cardiac stent placement or bypass, etc.
Qualified Participants Must:
• Be 40 years of age or older
•
Have a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes
•
History of CV events (heart attack, stroke, cardiac stent placement or bypass, etc.)
•
Have an HbA1c value of 7% to 10.5%
Qualified Participants May Receive:
- Reimbursement for time and travel
- Study related care and study medicine at no cost (no health insurance required)
