The SEAM RA Study is a research study that is evaluating the effectiveness of current RA medications - etanercept and methotrexate - for maintaining remission of rheumatoid arthritis. The goal for the study is to determine whether RA patients may be able to maintain remission with fewer medications, and therefore, experience fewer side effects.
Qualified Participants Must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Have history of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis
Be currently in good disease control
Be currently taking etanercept and Methotrexate
Qualified Participants May Receive:
If you participate in this research study, you will be asked to attend the study doctor’s office for study-related check-ups and evaluations. These visits allow study staff to conduct study procedures, evaluate and monitor your health. The study will take about 80 weeks and require no overnight stays.
You will receive all study-related evaluations and study medication at no cost. You may be reimbursed for the cost of travelling to your study visits.
