Research Site Introduction:

Carolina’s GI Research was founded in 2016 drawing on more than three decades of experience from our parent companies—Wake Research and RMG Gastroenterology. We specialize in conducting clinical research studies (also called clinical trials) to test possible treatments for medical conditions. Our physicians have conducted more than 60 clinical trials in more than a decade of research.

Dr. Subhash Gumber, medical director of Carolina’s GI Research, has more than 20 years of experience in gastroenterology and hematology as both an educator and practitioner.

Our principal investigators are all board certified medical doctors with a combined total of over thirty years of clinical trials experience.

Patient Demographics:

Carolina's GI Research and Wake Research draw from a subject population of over one million. Our current database includes over 950,000 patients and subjects. Our patient volunteer database is constantly expanding and provides our Sponsors with more homogeneous research groups and thus, stronger clinical research trials. We pride ourselves in rapid recruitment and consistently being a top enroller in a majority of clinical trials.
