| Study summary: |
|
Man or woman age 18 to 75 years old with a diagnosis of knee or hip OA with history of pain at the joint for at least 3 months or diagnosis of low back pain for at least 3 months prior to first visit. Must be taking hydrocodone, oxycodone CR or morphine SR daily for treatment of low back pain or OA of knee or hip for at least 2 weeks prior to first visit. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be between 18 and 75 years of age
•
Have a diagnosis of knee or hip OA with history of pain at the joint for at least 3 months
•
Have a diagnosis of low back pain for at least 3 months prior to first visit.
Be taking: hydrocodone, oxycodone CR or morphine SR daily for treatment of low back pain or OA of knee or hip for at least 2 weeks prior to first visit
•
Not have steroid injections or injections of hyalouric acid into the joint within 4 weeks of first visit
•
Not have had surgery in low back area or hip/knee joint within 3 months prior to first visit
•
Not have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia or acute spinal cord compression

A free medical evaluation by a physician including lab work and EKG and $50 per visit for travel and inconvenience. |
