A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study assessing the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events (mace) in overweight and obese subjects with cardiovascular risk factors receiving naltrexone sr/bupropion sr. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be female, 50 years or older
Be male, 45 years or older
Have a BMI 27-50
Have history of/current cardiovascular disease
Be at high risk i.e. diabetes type two with two of the following:
- Hypertension
- Dyslipidemia
- low cholesterol
- current tobacco smoker
