Have you been diagnosed with Coronary Heart Disease? Are you taking medication for High Cholesterol? The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication, versus placebo (inactive substance), in patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease and high cholesterol. “Investigational” means that the drug being tested has not been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for prescription or over‐the‐counter use.
The study would require you to complete 10 visits over a 12 week period. Two of the visits will be inpatient stays. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
Be 40 to 80 years of age
Be diagnosed with coronary heart disease
Be diagnosed with high cholesterol
Be taking a stable dose of medication to control your high cholesterol
Meet additional criteria that may apply

By participating in the study, you may be compensated up to $2000 for time and travel expenses. |
