Adolescent Bipolar Type I Research Study – This study evaluates an investigational medication for Bipolar Type I Disorder in kids 12 to 17 years of age who are experiencing manic or mixed episodes. The study provides all study-related laboratory tests and psychological evaluations at no cost. The first part of the study has 7 to 8 office visits over approximately 2 months, with compensation for time and travel. The second part of the study provides all study participants the investigational medication for 26 weeks. |
