Do you feel sad or depressed? Do you feel like nothing matters? Depression is a disease that needs treatment. Symptoms of depression include feeling sad most of the time, irritability, poor sleep, low energy, loss of interests, and feeling helpless, hopeless or worthless. Our Psychiatrists offer two unique study opportunities to treat depression. Participation is up to 20 weeks with the possibility of a year-long extension. One study utilizes possible combination therapy with an FDA approved antidepressant. The other utilizes single medication to treat people previously diagnosed with depression. |
| Qualified participants must: |
|
• Be depressed for at least 8 weeks
•
Be willing to stop any current depression medication, if applicable
•
Not be diagnosed or suffer from any other psychiatric disorder based on the judgment of the study doctor
•
Be able to pass a drug screen

| Participants may receive: |
|
Study medication at no cost, study related physical exams, evaluations, blood work, ekg’s at no cost, and compensation for time and travel. No insurance is required. |
